Industrial-organizational (I/O) psychology is the scientific study of humans in the workplace. Principles of psychology are applied to issues within business to enhance efficiency. I/O psychologists deal with human resources, talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training, organizational development, performance, and work-life balance.
I am an industrial/organizational psychology master’s graduate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Norfolk State University in 2009. The majority of my professional experience has been in education and mental health. However, I’ve always had an interest in business and the management of human capital. I want to use my blog to present articles, videos, case studies, projects, as well as anything dealing with I/O psychology.
